The Sangha: One of the most important features of both Jainism and Buddhism was the sangha. The sangha was an order of monks and nuns who travelled around the country spreading the teachings of Mahavira or Budhha. Both made the monks undergo spiritual training to attain enlightenment. Both of the made some basics rules to be followed by the sangha.
